Is Cisco Switches Price Justified Compared to Alternatives?

We’re budgeting for new network equipment, and the Cisco Switches Price seems higher than other brands. For those of you who manage enterprise networks, do you think the reliability and features of Cisco justify the extra cost? Or have you found better value with alternatives?
